CITY GUIDE
This is a very attractive and useful module for every guest.
All the interesting and necessary elements of the city in which the hotel is located are shown in detail and attractively.
All multimedia and GPS navigation elements are used in this module.
The guest learns about interesting sights in the city, wants to look at them and so extend their stay in the hotel.
Very easy (using built-in GPS navigation) is moving around the city and it increases its pleasure.
We have placed eight elements in the CITY GUIDE start Menu, but only the first two (white letters) are active. Other titles (yellow letters) are not active because the presentation mode is exactly the same as for the first two.
The user will determine what elements he/she wants to have in the City Guide.
One of the suggestions is the following list:
– TOP 10 PLACES TO VISIT (active button)– the ten most interesting attractions in the city are presented in an attractive multimedia way. You can look at each interesting feature in two ways: by pushing an interactive button or by using links from an embedded multimedia map. In both cases, guests log in to the desired page, where the sights are presented with slide show, images, video and text. The built-in GPS system shows to the guest how to find the desired location.
In the pictures below we see an example the guest chose to see Bascarsi.
– BEST LOCAL FLAVOURS TO TRY (active button)- interactive multimedia presentations of the best local flavors. Every dish is presented with description, slide show, pictures, video. For each dish are presented restaurants where it is best to eat this dish. All restaurants there are on the Google map integrated in the platform, the guest very easily can find a restaurant.
The guests are very pleased with all the local food information in one place, the restaurants pay this service to the hotel so the hotel earns extra money.
In the pictures below we see an example the guest chose to see CEVAPCICI .
The guest will see a slide show of what the dish looks like, a description of the dish, a video of how the dish is prepared, and a map with the locations of the restaurants where this dish is best. Restaurants will pay to he hotel for this advertisement. Geonavigation will take the guest to the restaurant very easy and simple.

– TOP 10 THINGS TO DO (no active button) – multimedia interactive presentation of things that are specific to the city where the guest resides. Most guests want to try these things and they stay more days in the hotel. Thus, the hotel earns additional earnings from the extended stay of the guest plus the percentage of earnings of the partner.
Some other elements we suggest for this list are: SIGHTSEEINGS, CULTURE, SHOPPING CENTERS, LATEST EVENTS THIS WEEK, RESTAURANTS, etc (banks, hospitals, airports…).
You can see these elements on the Home menu of City Guides, but the buttons are not active because these elements will be presented in exactly the same way as the first two elements: The guests can easily find information about things that interest them, prolong stay in the hotel, increasing spending. The hotel gets a very satisfied guest, earns from the prolongded stay of a guest, earns the percentage that is charged by the partners represented in these modules, earns from the sale of tickets for events in the city etc...
CITY GUIDE CONCLUSION
All the modules help the guests during their stay in the city, increase their pleasure, finding additional information and interesting things … All this increases guests pleasure during staying at the hotel and prolong their stay at the hotel increasing hotels earnings. Additionaly, hotel earn a percentage from business partners whose services guests are used
