Meal kit is a new, very attractive food delivery model in which the supplier sends customers pre-portioned and partially prepared ingredients with text, photo and video recipes for preparing homemade meals. It is usually a subscription and recurring variant, where the customer orders these meals for 2, 4 or more people and for 2, 3, 4 or more days of the week while repeating the same “plan” (“plan” – the name for such a package) e.g. every 3 weeks.

This makes it possible to cook fresh, home-cooked meals without the stress/hassle of planning and buying ingredients from the supermarket. Each dish is described in detail (see „Japrak“ HERE), with ingredients, method of preparation, recipes in textual, photo and video mode (see HERE ). The choice of dishes can be made according to a large number of criteria (national cuisine, method of preparation, category of dishes, type of diet, etc.).

You can see the home page of the demo platform HERE, in the “Shop” section (https://djerdan.brank.ba/wp/shop-3/) you can choose individual meals (which is not common on other Meal kit platforms), and in the “Sedmični planovi” section  are “plans”, which is the usual way of functioning of the Meal kit platform, with the exception that so-called “recurring”, i.e. periodic repetition of the same “plans”, is not implemented.
